Project: General Academics and Music Building Phase 2

The General Academic and Music Building Phase II project included the addition of classrooms, rehearsal rooms, faculty offices, conference spaces, and multiple music support spaces. Additionally, it provides academic and administrative space for Math, English, Social Sciences, Speech and Philosophy with a total square footage addition of approximately 130,000 square feet.  Stridde, Callins and Associates, Inc. provided MEP consulting engineering services for this project in collaboration with Cleary Zimmermann Engineers with Stridde, Callins and Associates, Inc. providing the electrical and plumbing engineering services, as well as leading the project and Cleary Zimmermann Engineers providing the HVAC engineering services.

Project: Emerging Technology Building Expansion

This project consisted of the demolition of the existing Gregory-Portland Wildcat Learning Center and the construction of a new 6th-8th Grade Middle School. This new school included general classrooms, special needs classrooms, computer labs, science laboratories, media center, kitchen, cafeteria, band halls, gymnasiums, locker rooms, and other ancillary spaces.

Project: Wood Building Renovation

Renovation of the William Wood Building located on the Victoria College Campus in Victoria, Texas. Three phase renovation of existing classroom and industrial lab spaces to upgraded industrial and welding labs.

Project: Museum of the Coastal Bend

Construction of a new addition to the Museum of the Coastal Bend located in Victoria, Texas. Included in the addition is an installation of gallery, lobby, exhibit space, restrooms and associated ancillary spaces.

Project: Fine Arts Building Additions & Renovations
Owner: Del Mar College

Location: Corpus Christi, Texas

The project expanded the existing drama program (built around a 150 seat black-box theater) with new scene shop, costume shop, set design studio, dressing and make-up areas, acting studio, faculty office and other support areas. The project also included a film classroom/theater, radio production facilities, and archival storage for visual arts.

Project: New Workforce Development Center

Location: Corpus Christi, Texas

New 48,500 square foot Workforce Development Center on the College’s Windward Campus. The new Workforce Development Center offers a 1,000 square foot control room that provides technical training for students and industry partners simulating real-world environments and situations often encountered in industrial facilities along the Gulf Coast. This project was done in collaboration with Cleary Zimmermann Engineers. Stridde, Callins & Associates performed the HVAC systems design throughout and Cleary Zimmermann providing electrical and plumbing systems design.
