Project: New Travis Middle School Additions + Renovations

New middle school classroom facility and renovations to existing buildings for Calhoun County ISD. The new classroom facility was designed and constructed at the heart of the existing middle school campus. The project schedule and associated phasing / sequencing of construction required creative solutions and very aggressive allocation of resources for this CMAR delivered project.

This project consisted of the demolition of the existing Gregory-Portland Wildcat Learning Center and the construction of a new 6th-8th Grade Middle School. This new school included general classrooms, special needs classrooms, computer labs, science laboratories, media center, kitchen, cafeteria, band halls, gymnasiums, locker rooms, and other ancillary spaces.

The Career and Technology Center is a state-of-the-art facility which provides educational labs, classrooms and makerspaces for emerging career curriculum within the district. The facility is designed to accommodate industrial, electrical, process technology and allied health programs while having the infrastructure to allow for the district to re-purpose spaces for new curricula as the workforce needs of the region change.

New high school innovation lab building for Port Aransas ISD designed to host a variety of technical instructional programs.

This project consisted of complete replacement of existing HVAC chilled water central plant equipment and partial replacement of associated underground site chilled water piping replacement at Gregory-Portland ISD High School Campus
